Hen Outdoors - June Hen of the Month: Stephanie Tsuneko
Stephanie Tsuneko (sue-neck-o) grew up spending a lot of time in Eastern Oregon with her family where she learned about the outdoors from her father. “He taught me about patience, hard work, and what hunting is all about.” she said.
Stephanie loves hunting because it allows her to provide for her family after putting in the time and hard work. She also loves creating memories that will last her a lifetime. Stephanie said, “I would have to say I learned how to appreciate the great outdoors from my Dad. He has played such a crucial part in my love for hunting and fishing, raising me into the woman I am today. He put in a lot of time and patience, never pushing hunting and fishing on me, which I am so thankful for. “
Stephanie now resides in Idaho with her husband where they love getting outdoors. They especially love bass fishing and waterfowl hunting. “My husband introduced me to bass fishing and waterfowl hunting, two things that I absolutely couldn’t live without now! It’s such a huge part of our lives and being able to share that with my husband is very special. “ she said.
Stephanie loves the outdoors and the memories those trips create so much, that she now has a passion for shooting…with her camera! She explained, “The outdoors has played a huge part in becoming the photographer I am today. Going on road trips, fishing trips and hunts; I always have a camera in hand making sure to capture the emotions and the memories.”
