Hen Outdoors

2 minute read

Just recently, the naive animal rights group, PETA, launched yet another suicide mission:  A Facebook frame aimed at raising awareness about hunting and how “wrong” it is.

The frame says, “Shoot Selfies || NOT Animals | PETA |” with a deer logo to top it off.

As you can imagine, PETA lost that battle faster than you can say, “Mmm Bacon.” The frame has spread like wild fire through-out the hunting Facebook community. Men and women hunters from all over have been using the PETA frame on top of their kills. From dead deer, turkeys, bears, and coyotes…

Well,  just have a look (and a laugh) for yourself…

Honestly though, what did they really think was going to happen??

Growing up my family was very poor. Raised by my grandparents and there little fixed income. If we did not grow it or kill it we did not eat. That's how we survived and that is why I am here today. Killing is not a good thing, but some people depend on it for soul survival. Don't be wasteful and make sure animals don't suffer.

Everyone that says even vegans kill to feed themselves (i.e plants) so killing is killing, clearly don't understand that a plant does not have a central nervous system. That plant can't feel anything, but a deer, bear, turkey, pig, cow etc. can feel exactly what a human feels if it were shot. Furthermore, because they are sentient beings, they feel all the emotions that humans feel. When you shoot a calf, the mother feels the same loss that you would feel if your child was shot. Vegans don't eat animals because they don't want to put animals through that, that's why they refrain from killing them for food because they know they can survive without meat.

So I take it as you eat nothing... no lettuce carrots, beef, venison...? Because ("NO MATTER WHAT you go to eat something has to die" - Ted Nugent). Want to eat lettuce? You just killed a plant.. want to eat a few nuts? Well that was your future nut trees.. want a nice tasting egg? That was a future chicken you destroyed. Want a nice juicy steak? Well that beef sacrificed his life... Want to live like an idiot? Keep on living like you are!!

Reading these posts make me understand how Trump won the election. Killing for food is one thing, killing to kill is another. Use a knife and your wits or sit down.

This is a useless fight that PETA will never win. People have the right to hunt, they feed themselves and their families by doing so, they might not go hungry if they didn't, but it doesn't matter. People LIKE food, people LIKE hunting, and if that offends your delicate sensibilities then maybe you all should kill yourselves in protest, cuz that would make about as much sense as what you're trying to do here. Go fuck yourselves PETA.

GCAROLIN – The point is, that person ate something that looked like shrimp, tasted like shrimp, without actually causing any pain to an actual shrimp. Tell me, if you could eat two things that tasted the exact same, but one of them included killing an innocent animal that feels pain and the other food caused no pain to any animal, which would you choose? Everyone here takes about killings animals in order to survive and that not all people can afford to eat if they don’t hunt themselves, you say that while sitting in your furnished home, surfing the internet on a computer powered by electricity, with a fridge that I’m sure isn’t completely empty. So please don’t talk about doing it out of necessity or that you’re living like your ancestors did. If you cooked your meat on an open fire, before going to bed in a make shift tent or a cave outside, then yes feel free to harvest animals for your survival.

Only trophy hunting I've done was over seas! Here at home we hunt for food and it has held my family together further back than I was born! You seem a plant that you kill and eat and then you plant another to replace it. With the circle we stand by we do the same with our animals "FOOD". Our founding fathers didn't get us this far off of tofu.#ManUpButterCup

Hunting has been proven to be possibly the best way to conserve our natural wildlife. Personally, I think it is much more humane to take a few deer, turkeys, ducks, etc. than to let them get overpopulated and eat all of their food supply and starve to death. But, hey, PETA is entitled to their thought of "humane" treatment. Not judging what you think, but leave me and the whole hunting community alone because we believe something different. THIS is what is wrong with our country today!

Peta people should thank us for controlling the pet population, overpopulation leads to disease and animals starving, and can you imagine how many deer vs. car accidents there would be? It's bad enough as it is

I was raised off of the food my family hunted...you eat what you kill...I do not approve of poachers and the like, but don't hate on the people who live off of the land!

I'm sure people who grow plants kill animals to keep them away from their fields and growing vegetables. Rabbits deer beavers birds can reek havoc on a field or a garden. Let's not even start with the bugs that are killed for many of your veggies. I'm pretty sure a lettuce farmer kills the rabbits that hurt his crop.

We didn't get to the top of the food chain by eating tofu.

On just one of Hawaii's islands, 400,000 pounds of meat were harvested to feed the people there. PETA has no idea how much humans depend upon wild-caught fish and game. If that's not available, then that food has to come from somewhere. And PETA members should appreciate that the demand for food would then affect their sources as well. Wild-caught food protects PETAs precious supply of bean sprouts and kale.

I still have yet to see or hear any outcry from you hypocrites about the barbaric slaughter of animals to provide halal meats, that are now filling our grocery shelves! You have lots to say about hunters providing for their families but are strangely silent on this matter! WHY???? How do ypu expect anyone to take you idiots seriously? Or are you all paid Soros goons as well???

If you are against hunting, or killing of animals, I just ask you to research Wildlife Damage and Niusance Control Permits. Then realize how many animals die for your "animal friendly" diet.

Lol. Those tree huggers are so dum. "I DON'T EAT MEAT. YOUR HURTING THE ANIMALS." Hey PETA Wake the hell up. You kill plant's to feed yourself. It's called the circle of life. Besides that that deer, duck, or any other animals that we hunted is healthier then the meat you by at the store.

If humans weren't meant to eat meat, then why do we have incisors , specifically for eating meat ?
